Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure client comfort and dignity.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or social activities.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in client health or behavior to the nursing team.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Administer medications and remind clients to take prescriptions on schedule.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; CNA or HHA certification is highly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certifications are mandatory.
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy, patience, and compassion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Fluency in English is required; bilingual skills are a plus.
