We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of the patient's home. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients maintain their independence and dignity while receiving the medical support they need.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and report changes in patient health, behavior, or condition to the Registered Nurse.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce isolation.
- Transport patients to medical appointments and therapy sessions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to the physician's orders.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in home care or geriatric care is preferred but not required.
