Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure their comfort and hygiene.
- Medication Management: Support clients with daily medication reminders and monitoring vital signs (blood pressure, temperature) as directed by RNs.
- Household Assistance: Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning to maintain a safe and organized living environment.
- Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversations, hobbies, and social activities to promote mental well-being and reduce isolation.
- Transportation: Provide safe and reliable transportation to medical appointments, shopping trips, and errands.
- Record Keeping: Accurately document daily care logs and report any changes in the client's condition to the care coordinator immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Training: Willingness to complete our comprehensive paid Home Health Aide training program.
- Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred or required upon completion of training.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen actively.
- Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation are required.
- Compassion: Genuine empathy, patience, and a strong desire to serve the elderly or disabled community.
