Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide personal care assistance such as medication reminders and light housekeeping.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to improve their mental well-being.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the on-call nursing team immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or social outings.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the client.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred but not always required.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
