Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary draws on patients of all ages with precision and care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere strictly to OSHA and safety protocols.
- Prepare and label blood specimens accurately for laboratory analysis.
- Greet patients warmly, explain procedures clearly, and ensure a positive, calming experience.
- Manage patient records, insurance information, and data entry with high attention to detail.
- Collaborate with nurses and lab technicians to ensure timely specimen processing.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
