Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in the patient's condition to the nursing team immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve the patient's overall quality of life.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and grocery shopping as needed.
- Administer prescribed medications under the strict supervision of a registered nurse.
- Document daily care activities and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
Qualifications
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
