Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in accordance with nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient charts and medical records.
- Provide patient education and support to families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Participate in onboarding and paid training programs to meet facility-specific competencies.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (Michigan or compact state).
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience (New grads eligible for paid training track).
- BLS and ACLS certification required (ACLS preferred for specialty roles).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
- Willingness to complete paid training modules upon placement.
