Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes to the nursing supervisor.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
- Transport patients to medical appointments and recreational activities.
- Administer prescribed medications and document dosage accurately.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties in the patient's home.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings is preferred.
