Responsibilities
- Assess patients' medical conditions via phone triage and in-person evaluations
- Make accurate clinical determinations for patient prioritization and disposition
- Document detailed patient assessments and care plans in EHR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients and families during critical moments
- Maintain compliance with emergency protocols and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Ohio RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care or triage experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficient in EHR documentation systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience with telehealth triage platforms a plus
