Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation according to dietary restrictions.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the case manager.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with mobility using walkers or wheelchairs.
- Administer medications as directed by the registered nurse or physician.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care logs and documentation.
Qualifications
- Current Arizona CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Proof of current Arizona TB test and immunization records (MMR, Varicella).
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and perform physical tasks.
