Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
- Monitor and accurately report changes in patient health, mood, or behavior to nursing staff.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Transport patients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or grocery shopping.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs as required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Current, valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic charting and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
