Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any changes to the nursing supervisor.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding clients with dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and recreational activities.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry as directed by the care plan.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and documentation protocols.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities using personal vehicle.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) certification required.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and patience.
- Experience in geriatric care is highly preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to pass a physical agility test.
