Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Perform light housekeeping and errands for clients
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and maintain client records accurately
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee Home Health Aide certification required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Background check and TB test clearance
- Compassionate demeanor with genuine care for elderly/disabled
