Responsibilities
- Delight patients with attentive daily care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Accurately monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration)
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging times
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification or multi-state reciprocity
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- Valid CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual a plus)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
