Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and patient preparation
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
- Perform infection control and sterilization of instruments and equipment
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate digital documentation
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal stock of supplies
- Provide chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene
- Coordinate scheduling and assist with front desk operations as needed
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Wisconsin
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience preferred
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
