Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with specialized focus in ICU/ER units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions using EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
- Provide education to patients and families on healthcare management
- Maintain accurate medical records and discharge summaries
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in ICU or ER
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- EMR proficiency (Epic/EPIC preferred)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
