Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using Emergency Severity Index (ESI) protocols
- Triage patients in high-volume emergency department settings with precision
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and specialists for critical care coordination
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear patient/family education during high-stress situations
- Adhere to HIPAA/JCAHO compliance and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 2 years emergency/trauma nursing experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Triage certification or equivalent clinical triage training
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in fast-paced environments
