Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient calls/visits using standardized triage protocols
- Provide accurate medical guidance to patients via phone and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care levels and interventions
- Maintain precise documentation in electronic health record systems
- Monitor patient flow and department resource utilization
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for patient safety
- Support emergency response protocols during critical incidents
Qualifications
- Current Arizona RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 3 years triage or emergency department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Spanish language skills highly desirable
