Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral imaging with precision
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory protocols
- Train new assistants on practice workflows and infection control standards
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside efficiency across multiple operators
- Implement HIPAA-compliant patient record documentation
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Dental Assistant Certification (DALEA/CDA)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Radiology certification and coronal polishing certification
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current credentials
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
