Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implant placements and restorative treatments
- Manage patient flow and digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft systems
- Oversee sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Train and mentor junior assistants on clinical best practices
- Execute advanced radiography techniques including CBCT imaging
- Prepare treatment rooms and specialized instrumentation
- Deliver exceptional patient education and comfort management
Qualifications
- Active Florida Dental Assistant License (DAEF or RDA required)
- Minimum 3 years experience in specialty or high-volume practice
- CPR/BLS certification and radiology proficiency
- Mastery of digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and communication skills
- Proven leadership or training experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA and dental insurance protocols
