Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for complex dental procedures including implant placements and orthodontics
- Advanced radiography (panoramic, CBCT) and digital imaging management
- Lead sterilization protocols and infection control compliance
- Mentor junior staff and implement best practice workflows
- Manage patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Coordinate with labs for custom prosthetics and restorations
- Maintain digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft systems
Qualifications
- Current KY Dental Assistant license or DANB certification
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general or specialty dentistry
- Advanced certification in radiography (DANB/RHS)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Expertise in digital radiography and practice management software
- Proven leadership experience in team environments
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical settings
