Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and inventory control for dental instruments
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Coordinate chairside operations and maintain seamless clinical workflow
- Oversee assistant team training and quality assurance initiatives
- Implement infection control standards exceeding OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
- Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license in California
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- DEXIS/Patterson imaging system expertise
- Exceptional chairside communication skills
- Proven ability to manage high-volume patient schedules
- Knowledge of dental anesthesia protocols
