Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Implement strict infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize chairside efficiency
- Maintain accurate digital dental records using Eaglesoft software
- Train new assistants on practice protocols and equipment operation
- Prepare treatment rooms with specialized instruments and materials
Qualifications
- Current Texas RDA certification or DANB certification required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Advanced proficiency in digital radiography and CBCT imaging
- Expertise in four-handed dentistry and oral surgical assistance
- CPR/BLS certification with current AHA credentials
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Experience training and mentoring dental assistants
