Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Manage patient flow and sterilization protocols in OSHA-compliant environment
- Take digital impressions and process radiographs with Dexis technology
- Train new assistants on practice systems and best practices
- Inventory management for dental supplies and equipment
- Implement infection control procedures across 8 operatories
- Assist with scheduling and patient education initiatives
Qualifications
- 2+ years of dental assisting experience in general or cosmetic dentistry
- RDA certification and radiology license (Texas State Board)
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal date
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and instrumentation
- Exceptional communication skills for patient interactions
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Spanish language proficiency a plus
