Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorations, crowns, and oral surgeries
- Manage digital imaging systems (CBCT, intraoral cameras) and treatment planning software
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory setups
- Train new dental assistants on clinic protocols and equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for multi-procedure patient visits
- Assist with patient education and post-operative care instructions
- Manage inventory ordering and supply chain optimization
Qualifications
- Indiana Dental Assistant Radiographer certification required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental management software
- Exceptional chairside communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- DEXIS or iTero scanner experience preferred
- Coronal polishing certification a plus
