Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Execute sterilization protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on practice protocols
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 5 operatories
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain equipment calibration
- Assist in treatment planning coordination with dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
Qualifications
- Current Florida Dental Assistant Radiography License (DARF)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certification in Dental Assisting (DANB or similar)
- Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
