Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain efficient clinic operations
- Assist in treatment planning documentation using Dentrix software
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on clinical protocols
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Missouri Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 3 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental imaging
- Experience with chairside assistance for restorative/cosmetic procedures
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
- Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification required
