Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including endodontics and oral surgery
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Oversee sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Train new assistants on clinic procedures and software
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene
- Coordinate with front desk on patient flow
- Assist in managing dental practice software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix)
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- 3+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Experience with digital radiography and CAD/CAM systems
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Madison area residency preferred
