Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implant placements and restorative treatments
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain OSHA compliance in all clinical operations
- Execute digital radiography and intraoral imaging using advanced equipment
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of premium dental supplies
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on practice protocols
- Coordinate patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Assist in practice management software and digital charting systems
Qualifications
- CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) or RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general/specialty dental practice
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control and OSHA regulations
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Experience with dental implants and cosmetic procedures preferred
- CPR certification and BLS certification required
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
