Responsibilities
- Deliver chairside assistance to dentists during complex procedures including implant placements and restorative treatments
- Manage digital radiography systems and maintain OSHA-compliant sterilization protocols
- Coordinate patient flow across 5 operatories while maintaining precise documentation in Eaglesoft software
- Train new assistants on practice protocols and emergency response procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms with specialized instruments and materials for diverse dental specialties
- Execute infection control protocols including instrument processing and waste management
- Assist in inventory management of dental supplies and ordering critical materials
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license from California Board of Dentistry
- Minimum 3 years experience in general dentistry with advanced procedures exposure
- Mastery of digital radiography (CBCT/Panoramic) and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current AHA certification
- Exceptional communication skills serving diverse patient populations
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and dental charting protocols
- Strong attention to detail with instrument sterilization expertise
