Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Manage digital imaging systems and maintain precise patient records
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory setups
- Train junior staff on infection control protocols and equipment operation
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize appointment schedules
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-treatment care
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in digital radiography (CBCT/Panoramic) and Eaglesoft software
- CPR/BLS certification and current immunization records
- Exceptional communication skills and chairside manner
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and infection control mastery
- Experience training dental assistants preferred
