Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex restorative and surgical procedures
- Operatory sterilization and OSHA compliance management
- Digital radiography and intraoral imaging proficiency
- Patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Dental inventory management and supply ordering
- Coordination of multi-specialty treatment plans
- Maintenance of accurate digital patient records
- Training of new dental assistants on clinical protocols
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB/CDA)
- Minimum 3 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Advanced knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Experience with digital imaging systems (e.g., Dexis, Schick)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or DentalWorks software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
