Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Order inventory and maintain supply organization
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Valid Washington State Dental Assistant certification (post-training)
- Basic CPR certification (provided during training)
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
