Responsibilities
- Compound and dispense medications with precision while adhering to USP 795 standards
- Lead inventory management, ordering, and waste reduction initiatives
- Mentor junior technicians and ensure compliance with HIPAA/DEA regulations
- Collaborate with pharmacists on complex medication therapy protocols
- Utilize advanced pharmacy software for prescription processing and verification
- Implement quality control measures for sterile and non-sterile preparations
- Train staff on new technologies and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 3 years compounding pharmacy experience
- Advanced knowledge of sterile compounding (USP 797)
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong leadership and training abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-accuracy environment
