Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and verify prescription medications using robotic automation systems
- Lead inventory management with automated ordering and stock rotation protocols
- Mentor 3+ pharmacy technicians on sterile compounding and IV admixture procedures
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy management
- Implement HIPAA-compliant documentation and electronic health record systems
- Conduct quality assurance audits for prescription accuracy and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Active PTCB certification with minimum 3 years pharmacy experience
- Advanced sterile compounding certification (ASCP preferred)
- Proficiency in pharmacy automation systems (Omnicell, BD Pyxis)
- Proven leadership experience in fast-paced pharmacy environments
- Strong knowledge of Virginia pharmacy regulations and DEA requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and crisis management abilities
