Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians with diagnostic procedures
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab testing
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Schedule appointments and handle patient correspondence
- Assist with sterilization of equipment and inventory management
Qualifications
- Current Nevada Medical Assistant certification or MA-RN
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system preferred
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English/Spanish bilingual preferred
