Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, ECGs, injections, and specimen collection
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient scheduling and maintain organized clinical workflows
- Administer medications and treatments as per provider protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
- CPR/BLS certification and phlebotomy experience required
- Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments
