Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Accurately record patient histories and vital signs in EHR systems
- Perform phlebotomy, ECGs, and basic laboratory tests
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Schedule appointments and maintain organized patient records
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced medical settings
