Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, injections, and wound care
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient records using Epic EHR system
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain exam room efficiency
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Proficiency in medical terminology and EHR systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced settings
- Flexibility to cover varied shifts including weekends
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (if travel between sites required)
