Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and patient preparation
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Administer injections and medications per physician orders
- Maintain accurate patient records and EMR documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Handle patient scheduling and basic front desk tasks
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
