Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.).
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Perform venipuncture and other routine laboratory tests with precision.
- Manage patient intake, update medical records, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Coordinate patient appointments and provide excellent front-desk support.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or NCMA is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
