Your Responsibilities

- Perform patient vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, respiration) and record data accurately.
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with gowns, drapes, and positioning.
- Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and minor procedures.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and update patient charts with current information.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, draw blood, and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure comfort and understanding of procedures.
- Order and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation.
