Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, height, weight, and BMI measurements accurately.
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams and ensure their comfort and privacy.
- Manage patient flow, check-in, and check-out processes efficiently.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Update and maintain patient medical records and charts.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification (or enrolled in completion program).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation preferred.
