Responsibilities
- Greet patients and verify personal and insurance information upon check-in.
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations by handing instruments and materials.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, administer medications, and draw blood as directed.
- Manage patient flow efficiently and maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Medical Assisting (CMA or RMA preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is preferred.
- Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
