Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history assessments accurately.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain hygiene standards.
- Manage medical records and electronic health records (EHR) efficiently.
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision as required.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and handle insurance inquiries.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients if necessary.
