Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient intake, accurate vitals measurement, and preparation of examination rooms for provider visits.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations according to strict protocols and provider orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Coordinate laboratory tests, referrals, and specialty consultations seamlessly.
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education to ensure a positive clinical experience.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic health record software (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth) is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
