We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to support our partner clinics in the Philadelphia area. You will play a crucial role in patient care, ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional service to our community.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with examination procedures and preparing examination rooms.
- Record patient history and vital signs accurately and professionally.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, administer medications as directed by physicians, and draw blood samples (phlebotomy).
- Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient use of provider time and minimal wait times.
- Handle front desk administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining patient records in compliance with HIPAA.
- Provide patient education and instructions regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a physician’s office or clinic setting is strongly preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients or equipment as needed.
