Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and health history assessments accurately and efficiently.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring strict infection control standards.
- Process laboratory specimens and perform basic point-of-care testing as directed.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and coordinate patient referrals.
- Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and wellness tips.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a primary care or specialty setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
