Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately record vital signs and medical histories in EHR systems
- Administer injections, perform phlebotomy, and collect lab specimens
- Sterilize equipment and maintain clean exam environments
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, NextGen preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification with current validity
- Pennsylvania state medical assistant license
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
