Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical histories with accuracy.
- Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during visits.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs as required.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage front-desk operations efficiently.
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding medications and follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the AHA.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
